  • Smoothies

NOTE: *Smoothie Tip:  Purchase yogurt ahead of time from dairy case.  Scoop into Ziploc bags and freeze.  Using yogurt that is frozen helps keep smoothie cold and maintain texture

Apple Pie a la Mode Smoothie
2 cups frozen non-fat vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup cinnamon applesauce
3/4 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Put all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.  Makes approximately 3 cups.


Blueberry Blast Smoothie 1                               Blueberry Blast Smoothie 2
1 cup blueberry yogurt, frozen*                          2 cups blueberries
1 cup frozen blueberries                                       1 cup raspberries
3/4 cup milk                                                            1 cup milk
4 tablespoons lemonade                                      1 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt

Measure ingredients and place in blender.  Blend until smooth


Colossal Cranberry Smoothie
1 ½ Cups Cran Raspberry Juice
2 Cups Mixed Berries
1 ½ Cups Frozen Yogurt
½ Cup Milk

Combine all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.


Cookies & Cream Smoothie
1 Cup Milk
2 Cups Vanilla Ice Cream
6 Oreos

Combine all ingredients into blender and blend until smooth.


Lemon Strawberry Yogurt Smoothie
1 Cup Vanilla Yogurt
1 Cup Orange Juice
1 ½ Cup Strawberries
1 ½ Cup Milk
1 ½ Tbsp Lemon Juice

Combine all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth


Lemon To Your Aide Smoothie
¾ cup lemonade
1 ½ cup raspberries or strawberries
1 cup low-fat lemon yogurt *
1 sliced banana

Measure ingredients and place in blender.  Blend until smooth.


Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie
½ cup peanut butter
1 cup milk
½ cup vanilla ice cream
2 bananas
¼ tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. cocoa

Measure ingredients and place in blender.  Blend until smooth.


Strawberry Surprise Smoothie
1 cup lowfat vanilla yogurt, frozen*
8 oz frozen sweetened strawberries
6 oz pineapple juice
1 cup milk
1 banana

Put all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.  Makes approximately 4 cups.
