2026 Essay Contest

Wisconsin Ag in the Classroom offers an essay contest for fourth and fifth grade students. Each year the topic has specific lesson plans, activities, and other resources that teachers, volunteers and homeschool parents can use to teach about Wisconsin agriculture.

The topic for this year's contest is "Dig into Wisconsin soil… where good things grow!”

Breakfast on the Farm

This is an annual event that invites the public to visit a dairy farm in June. The event is held at a different farm in Brown County each year. Come out to the farm to enjoy a delicious breakfast, see a working farm, and learn about Wisconsin's dairy industry!

Taste of Wisconsin

The Brown County Taste of Wisconsin event is an annual event that showcases the commodities grown in our state. There will be stations from area restaurants preparing a tasty dish or beverage using at least one Wisconsin commodity or dairy item.
